Bee Pollen for Allergies

I would definitely consider myself to be a type of person that is extremely sensitive to the outside environment. Ever since I was a kid, lots of foods would give me reactions like itchy throat, swollen lips, rash and digestive issues. Every allergy season(Fall, Winter and Spring), I would always have tissues on me and I felt so embarrassed having sneeze attacks while my teacher was getting interrupted by me. I was able to keep my allergies under control with over-the-counter medicines, but they always left me feeling groggy and unfocused, which is very inconvenient for my learning experience and overall productivity.

After studying environmental health, I started to research new natural remedies for my allergies that would treat the root cause of them, rather than mask the symptoms like usual. I wish that I found out much sooner that bee pollen could be a cure for allergies.

I found that soy and GMO products would be a trigger for inflammatory symptoms that are common with allergies. By eliminating them as best as I could, my allergy symptoms reduces by about 75%. I started adding supplements and enzymes as well as real, nutritional superfoods(like bee pollen) into my diet so that I can supply my body with what it craves naturally so that I can be free of annoying allergy symptoms from food and the seasons without taking medications that cause side effects.

This is the best bee pollen for allergies that I have tried. It’s the best price for the great quality.

Superfood Bee Pollen Can Cure Your Allergies

It is estimated that about a third of people living in the first world suffer from allergies that hinder the productivity of their day. Consider adding bee pollen to your diet so that you can clear your stuffy nose and relieve the inflammation in your body caused by harmful proteins.

This supplement is actually a food. It is high in protein, antioxidants and vitamins—truly one of nature’s perfect superfoods that we could all be adding to our diets. Bees go from flower to flower collecting pollen to bring it back to the hive where they create the granules of bee pollen. When collected, the bees are not harmed from the process of extraction and neither is their hive.

Bee pollen cannot be synthesized in a laboratory, so you can be assured that it will always be natural with few, if any, added preservatives. When researchers create artificial pollen, take away the bee’s pollen and replace it with the artificial one, the bee dies even though the artificial pollen has the same nutrients as the natural one. This is likely due to the properties of bee pollen that can only be found in nature created by real bees. They add a little secret something “extra” that makes it special and it can’t be identified by science.Bee Pollen and Allergies

Bee Pollen and Allergies

Allergies occur in the body due to an immune response to an allergen or protein, which creates antibodies. These then activate receptors in your T cells that release histamine and cause the symptoms of an allergy attack including sneezing, puffiness, itching, bloating, etc. Bee pollen reduces histamine in the body in the same way that over-the-counter medications do. It can also be useful for a wide range of respiratory disorders from sinus infections to asthma.

The health benefits of bee pollen for allergies and your body in general include:

  • Improving endurance and vitality
  • Aid in healing and recovery from injury and illness
  • Reducing cravings and addictions
  • Regulating the intestines
  • Building new blood
  • Preventing infections like the flu and cold(contains antibiotic properties)
  • Helps prevent developmental problems in children

Bee pollen is an effective remedy for hay fever and allergies and is best if taken six weeks before the allergy season begins so that it has time to work and build up your immune system. Used for hundreds of years, this remedy is a sort of desensitization to allergens that was developed at St. Mary’s Medical School in London. The treatment consisted of administering small amounts of the allergen to stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies that will eventually train the body to eliminate the allergic reaction. It works rather similarly to a vaccine.bee pollen and allergies

The pollen will desensitize your body on the premise that administration of trace allergens in the bee pollen will cause the body to produce antibodies that will be used in the future to cancels out the effects of the offending substance when the patient is again exposed to it. Leo Conway, M.D. of Denver Colorado used bee pollen in his practices and reported: “All patients who had taken the antigen[bee pollen] for three years remained free from all allergy symptoms, no matter where they lived and regardless of diet. Control has been achieved in 100 percent of my earlier cases and the field is ever-expanding.” Since feeding of pollen was used in this laboratory setting, wonderful results were achieves and no consequences were reported. Ninety-four percent of patients were completely free of allergy symptoms. The other six reported that they couldn’t understand or follow the directions of the experiment.

Relief of hay fever, asthma, bronchitis, digestive ulcers, colitis, migraines, and urinary disorders were all treated successfully by bee pollen. It has the ability to bring relief in minutes and last for hours. The trials done by Dr. Conway confirm that bee pollen is very effective in treating all respiratory distress.

Bee Pollen Nutrition

Bee pollen contains all the essential components of life. The percentage of nutrients remarkably exceeds those present in brewer’s yeast and wheat germ. It corrects the deficient or unbalanced diet that is common in present-day civilization full of incomplete foods, processed with salt and sugar, with added chemical ingredients that expose us to many physiological problems.

Pollen is considered an energy and nutritive tonic in Chinese medicine, as well as other cultures around the world that praise it for a wide range of health applications. Bee-gathered pollens are rich in proteins, free amino acids and vitamin B complex.

According to researchers at the Institute of Apiculture, Taranov, Russia:

“Honeybee pollen is the richest source of vitamins found in Nature in a single food. Even if bee pollen had none of its other vital ingredients, its content of rutin alone would justify taking at least a teaspoon daily, if for no other reason than strengthening the capillaries. Pollen is extremely rich in rutin and may have the highest content of any source, plus it provides a high content of the nucleics RNA [ribonucleic acid] and DNA [deoxyribonucleic acid].”

Bee pollen is a complete food that contains many elements that products of animal origin could never possess. It is richer in proteins than any other source from an animals, including beef, eggs, or cheese in equal weight. Bee pollen is concentrated with all elements necessary for life.

The Best Quality Value of Bee Pollen

The most reliable company that I have come across for finding a Bee Pollen supplement that satisfies every time is Low Moisture Granules by YS Eco Bee Farms. They have a lot of other products like honey that I also enjoy. These bee pollen granules make me feel absolutely wonderful throughout the day. It feels like a sort of simple food that makes me feel happy and clear all day. I definitely recommend it because it was a great investment that I’d never regret.

  1. Hi Anthony,

Interesting article. Some of the cures listed by intake of bee pollen is very good to know. My wife suffers from hay fever so I guess this could be something she could try.

What I am more curious about is your last item on the list – “developmental problems in children”. Can you expand on that a bit please? I’m interested to hear because my son is going to a speech therapist to try and encourage him to talk.

      Hey Craig,

So basically, the idea is that bee pollen granules are so nutrient-dense and bio available that it can make up for a diet that is lacking in nutrients. The standard American diet is often very deficient in vital compounds that we develop disorders. Giving your child proper nutrition will assist them in developing naturally and properly.
